Centering Prayer will be back this fall! The Centering Prayer group is open to all and meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 7:00 – 8:00pm in the Vestry or Chapel. Centering Prayer is a method of Christian Meditation, placing a strong emphasis on a time of interior silence. It follows the tradition of the psalmist who says, “Be still and know that I am God”. The intention of making time for greater stillness in our life is one method of creating opportunity to be in the presence of the Divine, and opening to divine action with us – from which to move into the world. All are welcome whether you are familiar with the practice or just curious. For more information, contact Clark Brownlee at 204-488-1786 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Messy Church is is a once a month gathering where families can enjoy being together to celebrate God through story time, singing, crafts, and just having fun as a family. If you have any questions, contact Karen Lumley at 204-488-1130 or email@example.com.
Our first Messy Church this fall is on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 5-7pm. Bring a potluck item to share!
